5 Low Cost Free Summer Activities For Kids

Image and video hosting by TinyPicWith budgets a little tighter this summer, it’s good to know there are programs out there that provide free and low cost summer entertainment for you and your kids.

Here are a few things you can do with your kids this summer without breaking the bank.

1.Go to the museum, Target is sponsoring special dates at select museums so you can go for free.
2.Go bowling with the Kids Bowl Free program at bowling alleys across the nation
.
3.Check out the local library, most have wonderful summer reading programs and fun free activities to go with them.
4.Check with your local parks, many have programs or weekly camps at low or no cost. Your kids can learn more about Mother Nature and have fun at the same time.
5.Check with your local movie theater to see if they have a summer movie club, where you can go see movies during the weekdays for a reduced cost. They’re not the current number one blockbuster, but they’re usually good movies that your kids will enjoy. Just make sure you feed them first, so you don’t have to spend a fortune at the concession stand.
